Unlike the battle with Adobe, the experience I had with Corel was very refreshing. I was bracing myself for a lengthy email chain explaining, as I had for PhotoShop, that I purchased the software (Painter Essentials) when I owned a PC, now I have a MAC and would they have a cross-platform upgrade and how much, and so on...
A day after I sent the email, I got an answer telling me that I just needed to log into my account, find my order record and download the MAC version, since the purchase covered both MAC and PC. How's that for customer service?
